Woman in a "Texas" shirt holds a mug on a porch with a man in a "Dallas" shirt. A skull hangs above. Lake and trees in the background.

The lake still whispers.

You thought Teardrops of Lake Tawakoni was just a story, bound between pages and left safely on the shelf. But the shadows don’t rest so easily. They’ve found a new way to reach you—one that lingers on your desk, waits in your lap, and stares back at you in shades of black and gray until you decide to bring them to life.

I’m talking about the COMPANION COLORING BOOK!

But this is no ordinary collection of pages. These images weren’t designed to relax you—they were drawn to unsettle you. Each illustration is pulled directly from the chilling heart of Teardrops of Lake Tawakoni, capturing the places, faces, and fragments of horror that made you shiver when you turned the page.

The longer you stare, the more you’ll see. A hand that seems to reach just a little too far. Eyes that refuse to look away. Trees that twist and bend as though they’ve been watching all along.

And then there’s the game.

Hidden among select pages, you’ll find something sinister: a “Find & Color the Suspect” challenge. The face of evil is lurking in plain sight—if you dare to look closely enough.

Here’s where it gets darker:

🔪 If you can uncover the suspect in every hidden page and send in your completed coloring sheets to LorettaAllseitz@outlook.com, your name will be entered into a drawing. The prize? A FREE autographed copy of Teardrops of Lake Tawakoni and a FREE Audible audiobook edition, so the whispers of the lake can follow you even in the dark.

You’ll decide the colors—but beware. Every stroke of your pencil, every shade you choose, feels like opening the door a little wider. Are you brave enough

to give the shadows their form?

The companion coloring book is coming soon.

And once you begin filling it in… you may find the lake is filling you in, too.

Until the next body drops,
